31-year old Christian Sweeten got lost in Salt Lake City, Utah. He asked  Michael T. Ehlert and Anthony M. Gaines, for directions, and when the directions he got were confusing and brought him back to the same spot, he shot the two men to death. His blood alcohol level was three times the legal limit at the time.

Accepting that he “messed up,” Sweeten took a plea deal which means he may face life in prison.

According to Opposing Views, Sweeten told the courtroom, “I want to acknowledge the pain and anguish I have caused.”
